Follow the instructions to create a USB flash drive to restore Omega to its factory defaults.

1. Make sure you have a USB flash drive that is smaller than 2GB.
2. Plug you flash drive to a MS windows PC. Format it using FAT (not FAT32 or other) file system.
3. Copy uImage.ltls, uImage and usb-firmware.bin in this directory to flash drive's root folder.
4. Unplug the flash drive (following Windows's instruction to eject it first) and plug into Omega.
5. Plug in the power cable while pressing the power switch on the front panel of Omega.
6. After 2 seconds, the USB flash drive start flashing, you can release power switch.
7. It takes about 1.5 minutes to install the firmware.
8. After the firmware is installed, unplug the flash drive to restart the system.

* NOTE: Some brands of USB flash drive won't work. If the USB drive is not flashing after you have plugged it in for 2 seconds, try other brands could solve the problem.

After the master reset is completed, please check if the touchscreen is working. If you find that it is not working, please reach out to Pharos at sales@pharos.com or clientservices@pharos.com to arrange for a replacement device. They will be able to assist you with the process and ensure that you receive a functional device.
